Can you control your subconscious mind?

People all over the world are mindlessly living their lives on autopilot every single day without realizing it. They wonder why they aren’t wealthy yet or why they aren’t in the best shape of their lives, you would think the obvious answer is to just change your actions but each time you try you go back to your old habits without realizing it.

We are all slaves to our subconscious minds and it’s about time to take control before it leads us to addictive behaviors that could ruin your life. Everything you do in your life habitually everyday are a result of repetitive actions from child hood.

You wake up take a shower, brush your teeth without thinking to much about it. The drive to work feels mundane and nothing hectic. But the first time you learned how to drive was a whole different story. You struggle to change the gears, when to step down on the clutch. It was stressful but now you do all those things while talking to a loved one on the phone while singing to your favorite song on the radio, all this without thinking about it.

This is your subconscious mind at work, making all those difficult actions that you were struggling when you were trying to learn in the beginning into automated and effortless actions.

Now imagine having the capability to control our subconscious mind in order to get our desired goals on auto-pilot.

Imagine being able to go the gym regularly without any hesitation and procrastination. Not only would you have an amazing looking body but you would be healthy and look good for the rest of your life.

This all sounds great but there’s only one problem. We have something that’s blocking our way from controlling our subconscious minds from attracting any thing we desire. This is our Limiting Beliefs.

Limiting beliefs are all the doubts that we have about ourselves. They are a result from a multiple of things during our childhood.

If you have a bad relationship with food and/or can’t ever see yourself in good shape, this could be from having parents constantly feeding you junk food at very young age.

You then go through your entire life seeing yourself in the mirror overweight and can’t imagine how you would ever be in good shape. If you try to go to the gym, or start a healthy diet, your subconscious mind pulls you back to your old habits and routines.

It feels impossible to change your life when your subconscious mind is fixed to an old habit that is not good for you.

This is why i made this blog, to find out the best and easiest possible way to control your subconscious mind no matter how many limiting beliefs you have about yourself.

In order to control your subconscious mind you need to bypass a ‘wall’ that lets messages through between  your conscious and subconscious mind. Only messages that you truly believe was the only way to get to your subconscious mind….until now.

Why the Law of Attraction doesn’t work

The law of attraction has been a global phenomenon ever since the hit movie “The secret” graced our screens back in 2008. My friends, relatives , co-workers, practically anyone i knew talked about it and recommended it to me.

I’ve been studying about the subconscious mind for a decade, and when i first heard about the law of attraction, the concept had similarities to some books on the subconscious mind I’ve read in the past such as ‘The power of the subconscious mind’ by Joseph Murphy, ‘Think and Grow Rich ” by Napolean hill and ‘The science of getting rich’ by Wallace D Wattles (in fact this was the very book that inspired the movie ‘The Secret’).

While those were brilliant books in their own right, the techniques worked for some but not for me and many other people, i felt that there was still a critical component missing.So i had to watch The Secret and i thought that finally they’ve figured out how anyone can attract their desires with the power of positive thinking.

After watching The secret i was very excited to try what they outlined in the movie out. I set up my vision board and practically every waking moment i was ‘visualizing’ my desires. Days passed by and nothing happened.”Hmm ok this obviously requires some time, let me not stop” then weeks which turned into months and still nothing…

I ended up very frustrated and let down. I came to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction was a very well executed scam. I continued my research on the subconscious mind.

And by sheer luck that’s when i had my breakthrough. I finally learnt why some people were able to become successful with ease while others like myself at the time struggled.

The one thing that ‘The Secret’ and countless other ‘Law of attraction Gurus’ failed to explain is limiting beliefs.

Limiting beliefs are the ONE thing that stops “Law of attraction” from working for you. When you truly believe that’s something will happen for you without a single ounce of doubt, it will.

Your subconscious mind is what makes the magic happen, it will ‘attract’ you all the desires that you want but i will only listen to you if it’s fed with only strong levels of emotions and BELIEF.

Ever since i was a child i thank my dad for forcing me to eat healthy and exercise regularly. i’m in my mid 40s and I’ve never heard any issues with diet and weight gain. Because i grew up believing that it was EASY to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

People that grew up unhealthy and overweight will find it impossible to stick to a healthy diet and gym regiment. They could try all they want to visualize about their new beach body and use positive affirmations over and over, but deep down they truly don’t believe that it’s possible.

That’s why the Law of attraction doesn’t work for most people. They are trying to get something that they’ve never had in their lives.It’s impossible to truly believe you can get it because you have suffered your entire life being either poor, overweight or lonely .

Even though i didn’t have any issues with weight growing up, i had terrible luck with money. My parents used to fight all the time over money, my dad would constantly tell me that “money doesn’t grow on trees” “money is the root of all evil!”. Those would end up being my own limiting beliefs that stuck for decades.

So when i tried to visualize myself being rich and successful, deep down there was a voice saying “Stop lying to your self! You will never be rich!Money is hard to get!”.

My limiting belief blocked the new positive visualizations and affirmations from entering my subconscious mind.

So what does this mean? are people who grew up poor or unhealthy are going to live the rest of their lives like that? Not if you can find a way to bypass your limiting beliefs.
